Just a simple (IT) scrapbook
Ok, I’ve reinstalled my VPS from scratch few times, testing different things and just playing around.
I’ve put back old db in place but I will be cleaning up content a bit (and maybe db), especially leftovers from different plugins I won’t be using anymore. But it’s only a place to keep notes so it may take some time.

Permalinks are not working at the moment. Will check that tomorrow.

This webpage has planned maintenance sometime this week. I’m going to redesign it and build from scratch. Current content should be available as an archive.
As I already posted before qTranslate is very handy and easy to use Wordpress plugin.
However there is one thing you need to know about it. When creating new post please check autocreated permalink. If you type in titles for all your languages it will create permalink concatenated from all language versions together. At least it’s true with qTranslate 2.3.3 and Wordpress 2.7.1 with permalinks configured as “Month and name”.
If you are interested in writing your (Wordpress) blog in multiple languages I strongly recommend using qTranslate.
